FLASH!
Three Hour Tour is back in
the studio! Singers Diana and Terry Alvey are lending their voices
again to the band. Look for a possible show in the coming months! MESSAGE
FROM PAULA:
Well, try as we might, we
can't stop the forces of change. After 13 years, Three Hour Tour is disbanding this summer, as Julie Riffle moves to Maryland and
I move on to other things. It's been a wonderful experience.
We would like to profusely thank our fans, who have stood by us since
those dark days of one-string guitar solos and abysmal
drum-pounding. We would also like to thank everyone who has stood
onstage with us as part of Three Hour Tour. Our goal was to learn
how to play music while also sharing
the roots and history
of rock and roll with our fans. We hope
we accomplished that.

Gig: The National Anthem at the Giants Game!!!!
Three Hour Tour sang the National Anthem and the 7th inning stretch ("Take
Me Out to the Ballgame") at the Giants/Diamondbacks night game
on Thursday, July 8. We hope we looked
good on the Jumbotron.

The Final Show
The Zebulon
show was a real winner. We played our sweet pop songs in the first
set, thinking that the kids would go home after that. But they
didn't. In the second set we played all the
hard-driving rock and roll we had stored up in us, and by the end, the
kids were leading the grown-ups in some wicked dance moves. Thanks
eternally to young Josh, who made the night. We also did
something new -- after sitting around drinking for an hour or so after the
show ended, we decided to get up again and play some more. Dina
Munsch sat in, and we blew away the 8 people who were still in the
place. Then we butchered some old chestnuts. What the
hell.
